Had to read through all 9 pages and I love it! I'm a huge 88-91 civic/crx fan though! You're car looks great on both sets of wheels and is Hella quick, I can't get enough.

Okay. So the day has finally come. AT LAST. Between the last time I updated this and now I have been slowly working on upgrading the car's suspension. I haven't had too much time between work and the Jeep but it got done.
I have replaced the rear trailing arm bushings on both sides. That was a pain but the old ones were trashed.
Then I addressed the clunking in the front end. The bolts supplied with the heim joints for my caster arms (idk what they're called... the arms that go to my front cross member) were too narrow and the heim joint slopped around on them making a clunk or creak with ever stop and start. SO. I made my own bolts because nobody carried the exact size needed. No pics though as that was the same day my dad took the camera to work.
No more noise AT ALL though. Super happy.
Then I added a CRX Si 15mm rear sway bar. My car did not come with one from the factory and this made a WORLD of difference even on my sloppy shocks. I love it. I need a thicker one now :P But I got absolutely everything for $30. Wire-wheeled it down and threw it on that evening.
Then I finally splurged. I bought a set of Koni Yellows with upgraded valving, GC springs (400f/500r), and GC extended top hats for $500. They were used only a year and were bought from an autocrosser who tried many many setups until he found the one that worked. So I also bought his research and time. Super cool guy too.
Out with the old...
In with the new...
Oh my gosh! It handles like a racecar now. I can't wait to hit the track. And for the first time NOT a drag strip. That911 if you have any tips or if anyone else does on anything please let me know. I'd love to hear.
Guys... I'm so psyched on this set-up. I was out brapping it up and it's so asdfghjkl;
Going to eat sushi because I'm feeling extra Japanese tonight. PEACE.
If this car is higher on new suspension there will be pain.
OH HO HO.
It is not. Thank the Lord.
I mean, it was at first because I just guessed on the height but I was able to get it down where it needs to be. That and I'm still only on the middle snap ring on all four so they can actually go much lower.
No full car pictures because I still have to get it so sit exactly the same as it was before or else my alignment will be off. I measured from the ground to each jack point and wrote it down. So I have some playing to do today.
Also. The car has not been washed in over 2 months and looks turrible.
I need some rear Koni yellows for my car! I'm so jelly lol. I also want/need a rear sway bar.
Love that you got new suspension!
Get them! You will not be sorry. Seriously. It's worth the money. I have rarely gotten a part for this car that simply bolted on. These did. And they feel wonderful. I actually thoroughly enjoy driving my car now.
The sway bar is wonderful too. Get the bar first so you can feel the huge difference in cornering THEN get the shocks.
I know... I usually never wash it in the summer. I'd rather spend the time working on it, you know?
I like your new wheels, Z! You should make a thread so we all can see more photos of your car. Jussayin. It looks pretty baller.
They aren't new. Just redone. One of these days I'll create a build thread. There isn't anything baller about my ride bro. It's a comfortable daily. Thanks for the love though.
