Haha! You're not the first. It's technically pronounced My-cuh. But who cares.
Well thank you! And you as well.
Speaking of Bonneville, I've been super amped over getting my car as fast as it can go (top speed). Also, it would look dope on those Baby Moon wheel covers.
According to these top speed calculators that use the inputs of gear ratio, final drive, tire height, and engine rpm my car would top out at 172 as it sits. I'm fairly certain it could do this as it was still pulling like crazy at the drag strip halfway through 4th gear. All I would need are tires that can handle that speed which will be easy to find.
I'd like to take it to the Ohio Mile as that's only like 4 hours away.
Guys. 172 miles per hour. Scraping the whole way. This is happening.
Micah, you need to learn that sometimes in life, people will give you lemons, and when you try to juice them you'll find out it's actually just a brick. So...
Because as much as I'm all for stupid things like scraping doing a 172mph run.
If the front of your car hits the ground at ~170mph, I see that ending badly for you and your car, and you need to stay safe <3
But, Stuart, sparks!
Actually, I hadn't wanted to, but the shortest high speed tire I can find is 22 inches tall so that would indeed raise the car 1/2 an inch which would put the oil pan 1 1/2" from the ground. They would also raise the top speed to 180mph. I doubt it could hit at that height. The track is also an old military airport so it's nice and smooth.
