        Whatcha think? Add says they're Enkie Center lines.... not sure.






        I've been away for a while, haven't really done much with the truck. I've decided that I'm extremely tired of the truck's different colors, so I'll be rattlecanning it matte white for a little while, until i have another car to drive and can gut this thing. It needs to be ripped into pieces and there's a lot of metal to replace.

        I'm going for this kind of look. It's a buddies 240 that's rattle canned. Photo's don't do it justice!

        • More into the motor build....

          :The cam is older then my truck, with a 1974 grind date, and a .475 lift that should really wake this motor up combined with the big ports and big valves...





          :L28 valves with dual Nismo valve springs and retainers







          In the words of the previous owner...

          "The entire interior surface of the crankcase was ground down to smooth it out and release the sand from the casting as well as remove casting flash.
          it was strange when I started grinding the block how much sand was hitting me in the face!!!

          Some people would think this will never be a problem, "its been there 20+ years and I've never had a problem!"
          HA! I broke this little "tree" off with my fingernail. This kind of thing can destroy any engine, and if you plan on hitting 7000+ RPMS, everything inside the engine vibrates like crazy.










          The future plan is to possibly either run twin throttle bodies with megasquirt or small turbo with a open chamber head.



          I'd love to run a small T4 (or even smaller honestly) turbo with megasquirt. Cut down an L28ET intake to remove the two center cylinders, and just run megasquirt. I wouldn't even mind running a small turbo into twin throttle bodies. Imagine the sound it'd make!

          • Looking good, what kinda figures do you think it will have when it's done? 90? Even 100 hp?!?!

              It should have at LEAST 130hp on the little carb I have now. With proper side drafts I could see maybe 175HP. Turbo EFI would put me over 300HP reliably.

                The gt25r from the stock MSP spools up stupid fast.

                  That's a pretty big improvement, sadly I sold my truck awhile back and have been dumping money into my stupid bimmer

                    That's possible. I still have a lot of research to do! I'm not in any rush. I'll have to convert all 4 wheels to disk, and find a stronger LSD before I do any of that, or I'll be breaking stuff.

                                I have those wheels! I don't think they're enkeis though. If they are, sweet, I have enkeis. I think they're american racing wheels though. Still legit in the truck world.
