I got scared when you said that you were going with overfenders and cutting the old ones out and that the rust is covered in bondo.

99% of the time it's not the cops, but the owner of the car.
I am guessing because you have an 86 you thought you were some sort of d1gp master and got caught trying to slide around.

Pfffftt i wish i was sliding it around! havent even gotten to slide it yet. but the police got me for my headlights because i got it with hids they said it is unsafe to drive and im not allowed to drive until i get it inspected by a provincial inspection agency which means it has to be in good working condition. its not gonna pass that. but i shall try my hardest to get it in working order.

Glad to see you aren't one of 'those' guys hahaha. I've seen too many trashed s13's and 86's because of the kids who think they can drift because they see them on t.v. doing it.

You need projectors or glare shields to make them legal. It's a real pain in the ass to do in a car with flip ups and usually looks super awkward.

Why wont the car pass inspections other than the HID's?

I doubt he means the headlights wont pass inspection, I think hes more talking about rust problems etc.

Theyre cracking down on HID's over here too. You just have to get some 4K or something that looks like a stock color. Hard to hide on cars as old as ours.

howdy people! i have sold it to my best friend to rebuild it and get it painted. i shall trade him my car for it back in a few months. But i got myself a fine daily drifter for a few hundred.

well im sad to say, but a few weeks back, same thing happened to my wagon because of an exhaust leak! back to no car.
