This truck is awesome! I don't think I've seen you out and about since I've been in Clarksville. I look forward to seeing this truck first hand when I get back to the states!
I think I saw you this morning on the way to work now that i look through some of your pictures, driving down 41A around the Walmart Oak Grove and the I24 on-ramps... Though, I don't really recall to well since, well, it was morning and I don't like the morning. Once I get this thing assembled, I'll be making it out to some events I hope.
But ehm... wrapping your air bag... Isn't that asking for problems?
I did a ton of research about it to make sure I wasn't doing something stupid. Spoke to a couple custom interior shops about it before pulling the trigger. This material is millimeters thick and simple to tear with a little force. With the force that the airbag deploys, this stuff will rip right along with the cover.
I'm not in Clarksville right now and the car stays in the garage, there are a few Cruzes on Ebay wheels floating around the area however. I'll be back in the states this spring...have you ever gone out to the smash burger meets on Friday nights? We usually see about 40-50 cars...pretty good for the area.
Never been to a smash burger meet. And not confusing your car with something on ebay wheels, it was the backend of a car that looked similar to yours as well as a drop. But, if you weren't in the area, then it obviously wasn't you.
Hell, the truck is probably unrecognizable at this point since I have so much of it removed.
Anyway, you have any more details about this smash burger thing?

I did have ebay wheels at one point...not really "details" but everyone used to meet up at Smash Burger (Last Summer) before heading out to the 1/8th mile strip around 10-11...it's a pretty chill evening, everyone is usually pretty tame. There are a few mini trucks and one particular boosted v8 S10 I remember specifically. When I get back I'll have to talk to my buddy to see if they still go there or not.
Is Smash Burger down in Murfreesboro? That's the only one I could find near me...
And I will include an update:
Was able to get the bumper off the shelf, install the new accent lights in the two vents and install the bumper on the truck. Since I needed to make sure the bumper sat where it should so I didn't have to move it again, I installed the front two flares as well. This gave me a good idea how they will sit and look when painted. I'm very pleased...
and I have the back two sitting in the garage waited for the (hopefully) last coat of epoxy to dry completely.
Paint has been shipped. Once that gets here and I finish the back two flares, I'll be painting the handles, smooth gas door and flares.
Right now, I will be running the current set that I have, just spaced out enough to line up with the flares and fill the gap, which is about an inch or two based on my guestimates.
Future wheels are going to be something I have to figure out... With this type of offset/width that I can now run and not wanting to run spacers forever, it will most likely be something involving multiple pieces.

"how do you drive that? Does it have those lifter shocks on it like the low riders?"

Appreciate it guys. I'm very pleased with how this thing has turned out so far. It will be fun to take this for an actual photo shoot once I get everything back together and cleaned up.
