Shit happens every day in Albuquerque. A buddy of mine builds MegaSquirt setups and EFI conversions for Volvos, specifically the 200s.

He and his brother built an '88 244DL as the shop race bitch, it eats ZR1s on the freeway, and will do 60 consecutive laps at the local road course. It's currently on a 12cm HX35, but they have plans to run a compound turbo setup with it and an HX40 and then hit up Pike's Peak.
