Couple of bits done today. Got my stud conversion fitted. went ok apart from one stud had a crap thread and took some buggering about to fit, I almost expect stuff I buy to have something wrong these days...
I also fitted some 7mm spacers on the rear and the 3mm from the back onto the front. No rubbing as yet although the rear is tight! there's plenty of rubbing front the splitter/lip thing though, I'm surprised its still on tbh! I took a few pics too
Just yesterday I was talking about hit debris in the road..this morning I done some damage. I hit fooking great bit of 2x2 angle iron that a nice person had deposited in the middle of the road. Couldnt avoid it as there was a car coming in the other direction and wouldn't have stopped in time by braking hard (and that would have dived the front down even more), so I put my foot down to try to raise the front! Still hit it.
I'd say the sumpguard has now paid for itself.
Also put two great dents in the exhaust on it's way out the back..
It buggered one of the bolts but the riv nuts were ok so I've replaced them all with 8.8 button head Allen bolts so they aren't as stickyouty as before
Got my allignment done today at Aaron Reeve performance. Only just realised I didn't get a printout.. Never mind, it's done the trick! Car tracks straight and feels LOADS better to drive. Should have done it sooner, should save me some on tyres too!
Pics
Minor issues getting on/off the ramp!!
Aaron also fitted one of his sumpguards which look a decent piece of kit
My car doesn't have ews so I couldn't swap the module/chip in key like on a later car. The guys I bought the remapped ecu off also deleted the ews, plug and play. Still don't dare rev it to 7200rpm tho!!
Didnt know that its so easy to delete EWS function. Dont be afraid
Nice job done two weeks ago i did similar swap, only in my case i did swap to m50b25. BTW how did you solve EWS problem?
