  • Awesome car, man. Reading through this thread really makes me miss my GS-T that I had in high school, which looked nearly identical to your red one.

    • I go Missouri State and use to see this car everyday when I walked to class. Once I saw this thread I had to read the entire thing. Had no idea the amount of work you put into this thing.
By far my favorite DSM ive ever seen.

          • April 1, 2013 - Got married a month ago, Import Alliance trip, control arm bushings changed, and goodies from the junkyard

Let's begin with the wedding. I got married February 17th to a wonderful young lady. Here are a few pictures from that wonderful day!

First things first, clean the car

            Then get married

            Then pics and stuff

            Cake in yo face!

Oh, and the rings. I love mine

Then left after the other important things

And then the next weekend I left....for Import Alliance! I had to represent! But also, I have just been selected to go into the Air Force as a commissioned officer, so I will likely leave this summer, perhaps before Summer IA even. So I took this chance at going to an Import Alliance while I can. I will be an RPA pilot in the Air Force for any that care :p

            On the way

Cleaning up after the 7 hour drive

            Group shot

            At the hotel

It was a great time and I will be going to the summer one if I am still around. Hopefully there will be other DSMers at that one!

            • After I got back, I noticed that my tires were beginning to wear a bit unevenly on the inside inch or so...toe wear. I knew the bushings were bad, so it was time to replace them. Fun stuff

              Little worn out...

Cut that slut in half, made life easier

              Fitment shots

And then a few weeks ago I went to the local pick and pull to get some parts for the new daily (sold my jeep), and found a few goodies for the DSM!

              New daily:

              Black rear seats

And I got a hardtop headliner to cut to fit for my aftermarket sunroof (###)

              Oh!! It snowed

Thanks! I won't be making it to ATL IA, not enough time or money for that one with school and such. Summer IA I plan to be at though, as long as I am here still. That is the big one and the one where I can hopefully help in the journey to put DSMs back on the map

Thank ya! The team I am a member of (MOAR Low, check us out on Facebook) has a good group of well put together cars in the area, and I know of many others that have clean builds as well. Just gotta find them! Nothing compared to the number in other areas of the country though.
