ive always had a thing for these accords my uncle had a black one slammed with an h22 in it back in the day when chrome 5zigens were the shit lmao. but im loving this accord especially the grandpa gold and no im not being sarcastic
Nice. and thanks bro
I love the Heather Mist Silver that this car has
it just sucks when it needs a touch up
If you don't mind my asking, what mounts did you use to fit the H22A?
OEM or Hasport or ??
Thanks man
And i was lucky and was able to modify the stock mount to bolt up
Its a weird combination of years to get it to bolt up correctly, i just got lucky i guess

Got the new radiator in and it drove for a little while until it broke down once again and figured out that it was a slightly blown head gasket on port one.
At this point I was so fed up with the issues I just wanted to give up and start over but my father assured me that it would be unsettling to me if i didnt finish so I pushed forward and got it towed to my friends shop and began looking for a new motor
Found an amazingly healthy looking motor and got it straight over to the shop to began what had been a vigorous battle with this car
Pulling the motor was the easy part.

What led ahead was the dreadful wiring
he shop informed me that the motor I was purchasing was indeed and OBD1 engine come to find out I had a 97 H22a and it was indeed OBDII
that led to the wiring nightmare that we had upon us and we got it to work
Went and bought a chipped P28, did a quick tune and it was good to go
heres a pic of the old engine
I was so excited I was able to drive the car again
But I had an image in mind of where i wanted this car to be so I found a decent mugen grill that I could re paint
De-Tinted the tails with Nail Polish Remover and a Magic Eraser
And once again thru my fathers connections got one AMAZING DEAL on some 527's but I wanted to keep in mind that I needed to be a little different so I chose a staggered set and began to think of paint options
I chose Dodge Cool Vanilla with a Purple Pearl and I believe its just beautiful
if anyone in FL needs paint done, my Cousin Johnny paints and will give good deals
You can see the purple a little bit
before paint
215/40 on the 8.25, very mild stretch
