                That bay looks incredible.

I really want to see this finished, its looking really good so far.

Thanks. I have a 93 cobra engine that's carbed. (again for minimal engine bay clutter) with explorer heads and some bolt ons. Hoping for about 300hp. I have it apart deciding what colors to paint it, block, heads, valve covers, misc parts.
The biggest pain is gonna be wiring the car. Gonna go with a rebel harness.

Didn't know they had Cobra specific motors back in 93. My dad had a '94 GT with a bunch of bolt ons and it was pretty quick.

Whats the reason for Explorer heads? Bigger valves and more airflow?

Yeah cobra motors had slightly different cam, 1.7 roller rockers, and gt40 heads. The block was the same as regular 5.0's. Explorer heads have a little bit better flow then gt40's and much better then regular 5.0's. The also have a little bit smaller combustion chamber for higher compression.

I'm looking for some rims. Ideally I'd like some old jdm wheels. But would probably have to go with some knockoffs. Unless somebody has something for cheap. I would need a size in the range of 15x8" 0 to +15 et. The widest I've seen on an mgb without flairs. Is 15x7". Any suggestions.

put some drag dr44's on there cheap but should get the job done, i wish they stuck out a little further but i could always go spacers to put it were i want it. I only bought one for now just to try it out. It will sit lower aswell cause you can see theres no engine weight in it.
also painted some other things, and rebuilt my pedal box.

Set the engine in the bay, gotta make some lowering blocks to get the rear down.
