Ah so basically not much gain for the Added lows ha! That being said the tie rod flip made a massive difference. My coils are home made so the coil option is averted! I'm going to try to get some more pics of her up.

Your car sits perfect right now, IMHO! As for the late front end, there's more clearance between the control arms and tie rods (eliminating the need for a flip kit.) It also comes apart a lot easier than the the 3 bolt, and coilovers are less expensive for the later style. One downside is the whole assembly is a little wider than the '73, so it would mess with your fitment on the front.

Thank you sir! Not a bad idea did the two bolt pick up any clearance? I have thought of a rack setup but honestly I scrape sway bar as it is lol so I may could gain a touch more low. But thats a touch lol

Your Super Beetle, sir, epitomizes everything I've always known a Fat Chick could be! I applaud you!
To solve the steering box vs. control arm issue, have you guys thought about installing a rack and pinion from a later (75 and up) car? I've been toying with the idea myself, considering the rest of my front end has already been updated to the later 2-bolt style.

Mine is a 73 I have only hit mine once. I'm too scared to bend the pitman arm. I believe we will be making tubular arms to clear the pitman. havent figured it out fully. Gonna get through this year then gonna shoot for more low!

    turbo? hell yes

i'm very curious about your idea for the control arms, i have the same steering box/control arm issue right now. but i'm closer than an inch and it hits all the time.

o yea. what year is this thing?
