what other platforms of cars have you stanced?
im trying to decide on a ls400 or y33 and the sight of the y33 coils are making me want to stray away
coming from super easy suspension like s13 and subaru - they seem really odd
any input on how putting on these coils are compared to any other platforms you are familiar with?

e36s, nissan d21, eg, s13s, and the y33.. My coils are weld in. You basically weld the bottom mount to the knuckle. It's not all that hard. The ones you posted a pic of come with the knuckle and spindle so theyre a direct swap with no welding. That gets swapped in like your changing the knuckle, which is obviously much more work than swapping in some coils into an s13 but it should be that bad. IMO welding them is easier though

Believe it or not, I've actually had people rip on me for buying an automatic Q. LOL

he is using a z32 trans with a mazworks adapter and a custom one piece drive shaft. it rides out with a 5 speed. pulled a stock sr s13 on 11psi. soon to have a hydro set up for some sweet entry's in a boat lol. another cool thing he did is he got all isis rear s13 suspension arms so he has full arms in the rear.

I'm am going to keep the gold for a bit. They do need to be refinished but I dont have the time till I graduate in May and don't feel like taking them apart until I order bigger lips. But yeah I was thinking chrome as well

I got them for my boys y33 so he has something to roll on while we wait for his wheels and barrels. and you know I cant pass up a good deal on wheels

And nah, not hiding wheels. I didnt actually sell the vs-xx. I had these ASAs laying around so I mounted them for an april fools pic. I figured at least one person would get pissed I replaced the works with asa considering they're absolute shit, but I guess not
