Clay (post above) and I did. We just used a screw driver heated up to red hot. If you get it super hot and take your time, it does a very nice bead.

Here's today's update:

Last bit of bodywork on the bumper. I asked the painter for a sharp body line under the headlights and he executed it perfectly! I think that body line is the most important part of a mkv shaved bumper, so excited he did such an awesome job on it!



Should look like a brand new bumper once painted.


Fixed a small dent that happened while changing the clutch

We're rushing to get the car somewhat done for Clear Lake VW's show this Saturday. After that, we'll probably have it out at All Team Bash on 5/6. Then going to Georgia for SoWo.
