      • Wow, thats sad and funny at the same time. Those are HRE, model 535.
He had them listed as "early 540". I was tempted to buy them, seems like I dodged a bullet there.

A lot of their early wheels had the serial "scribed" into the mounting face. Easy to sand it off.

OZ tool -I have one coming, actually. Ordered from XXL-Automotive (Germany).

There is a coupon code somewhere for 10% off. Plus no VAT. Shipping is very expensive though.
Another one is available here http://www.ebay.com/itm/221610336776
But in the picture it looks like a Laser 8mm socket, which does not work on Operas.

Love the work you've done and those new wheels look sick!

If dream of building a 911 like this. Will do once I have the money/time

                      Keep up the good work!

Since the trans is out I figured this time I'd put it back together clean

                          • Also picked up some rotor hats to use to have some made with the right offsets to build a setup using aftermarket rotors

                            • My turbo started smoking a bit at h20 so since it's down now it figured I'd see what the issue was. Not how I wanted to start off.

                              But found the issue.

Started on rear bumper. I love the look of center exit exhausts so time to start cutting

Removed the heat shields for really no other reason than the clanging noise.

V-bands came in for my aluminum exhaust. Saving about 30lbs out back by replacing this

With this. Going dual 3.5" tips out the license plate area.

Also pressure plate was under warranty so that is back.

                              Trans cleaned up

In to see more of that ALU exhaust setup
