you think that painting technique will work on my metal lorinser caps ? the lorinser logo is lifted i want it metal but the rest to stay white. how do you ensure you do not remove paint from the logo ? just use a sanding block ?

Started working on the caps.

cleaned the dings and deep scratches and took it up to 400 grit



Painted with enamel paint



600 wet and ready for the buffer. Yes i have the 4th, it was drying after i fucked it up.

This is awesome, just curious what did you do to mark off the different sections?

I've been thinking about using plastidip to urban red-snow camo my camaro.

i use tape, plastic and paper. its a PIA. over spray is a bitch. Im going to steel wool it all when im done to clean it up as well as knock down the tape ridges a little, touch up anything that needs it then clear it with the ultra flat.

Driver side done for the 2nd time. First time i had the spots to small and it looked funny compared to the other side.


Got the wiper pieces i was waiting for and now these are bolted up. Just waiting on a relay.

Finished up the coil pack bracket. It looks like its tilted but its just the picture. I'll send it off to powder with a bunch of other bits
