well change of direction..... i have never had a car that i took my time and did exactly what i wanted to do with it. This is that car now! so gonna pull drivetrain out and clean up the interior and start prepping for new drivetrain. cant decide between rat rod style or just stancing it with nice paint and wheels...

ok got new pump in. it fired up if i feathered the throttle and ran real rough. Gonna order plug wires and change plugs. I did forget to add gas after the fuel pump change. had 5.5ish gallons in it not sure if it ran dry or not. Have 5 gallons in the garage i will add tomorrow morning and try again. It is so close to breathing again!!!!!

i was gonna do bosch but the i was confused with quality when it said 2 are required for the bosh unit and i knew i had a single fuel pump. I found out the early moodel 190's had a single pump and like 86 and newer had 2 or something like that.

I have no idea why they would send you two? Maybe it was a mistake. I would only replace with Bosch for fuel system stuff. I'm not sure about the regular 190s but there is a fuel pump > fuel filter > fuel accumulator. Just install one and see how it goes.

Ok quick update! Wheels will be here tomorrow. Fuel pump arrived today! After work tonight i will try to take a bath in some gas and change the pump.
quick question for my 190e pals.

Beck Arnley? not sure on spelling.... sent me 2 fuel pumps.... they look identical.... i only have one factory installed on my car with no provisions to hook up 2..... is this normal?

ok 195/50r16 tires are gonna be the ticket! should have just enough stretch hopefully to be able to get a nice flush fitment. Waiting on fuel pump so i can make sure nothing big comes up before it is road worthy before ordering tires and spacers.
