  • I installed KYB GR-2 4wd front shocks as a replacement for my Pinto shocks tonight. The GR-2's compress about 0.3" more than the Pinto shocks which was apparently enough to keep me from bottoming out on the shocks on every bump. Plus the valving in these is much stiffer and these have a way nicer ride. Hopefully they last more than an hour as well. We'll see!

These were the old ones. That bump stop used to be one piece and the shock used to be blue before it pissed all over itself.

    • Nice, now that you've posted what shocks you got I went ahead and ordered a set too, since the retards that had my truck before never relocated the rear shocks so I've been driving a bagged bounce house lol!

      • Did you order fronts or rears?

          • I'll be riding pretty low like a static truck all the time, this is my second non static vehicle, but I prefer static for the fulfillment of shocking people when I ride up static, but when I got this it was already bagged.

            • I did a little mini night shoot. Not the best, but pretty good for my first time really trying at night.

              • You should try a small spot light facing the vehicle. And a little longer exposure
