Did you test the starter before you put it in? If not, you may want to take it out to see if it's working properly. Use a jump pack or something.

If it IS working there's got to be a wiring problem. Try using one or two screwdrivers to spin the starter and kick out the gear (touch them to the pos. lead and the bendix gear lead. Then touch the screwdrivers together.). If the starter is working, there is no reason this method should not turn your motor over (if everything else is okay).

No, it's a v6 transmission, and the input shaft is longer and a few other things are different. So it will "fit" on there, but will jam things up.

Nope, since after the fox body they've been v6 and v8. The fox bodies were v4 and v8 as you said though.

And my gosh, looking at it now, I would have gone carb'd just for the look. Only 1 other person that I know of is running a carb on their e30 5.0 swap, it just looks beautiful in there, imo. And its an honor to hear that man, thanks
