Time for one large ass muthafuckin update:
I keep forgetting I have a thread on here as well for my car but I'm usually on vortex, so if you're a member there and/or just want to keep up, see my thread here:
Also I usually post up any sort of progress the minute it happens on my Instagram, so follow me:
Ig: dr_pistachio
Now that we've gotten that out of the way the last place I believe I've left off on here was painting the style 5's a baby blue color and called it a day.
So moving on from there.....I painted the centers again in a unique color

I was originally gonna paint them a metallic dark grey but I wanted to spice things up a bit more....

Mounting the faces

The final product

replaced my shit speakers in the rear

temporary setup before I finalize the setup with wood flooring

(bungie cords, I know...lol)
Cracked my oil pan before mounting the wheels on

Got mad for a bit but It's all good. Fixed the problem, mounted the wheels on before HIN Houston (which I missed)

Got bored of being on those wheels for a while, sold them for these:

Did minor maintenance shit along the way such as replacing the alternator, crankcase hose
Finally re-did the headliner:

I'll take a pic of the final result (it was already done since I took that pic)
Got some wood grain vinyl for the interior pieces:

The only one I did so far, in which I'm glad I did just one. A fellow member off the forums is willing to trade me my interior pieces for his oem wood grain pieces, saves all the work for me
Found some tires for le wheels

215/35/18's for the 8.5, 225/40/18's for the 9.5's
Fitted them on le car

Loved them.....for about a week. Sold them to another silver b5'er on bags, he can definitely rock them better than me

Finally mounted my steering wheel :

Which now brings us to the present.....
I got my "new" set of wheels about a month ago

they had a sh&t ton of curb rash on the rear wheels

Ordered adapters right after getting said wheels

My pass side motor mount from ECS Tuning gave up on life....

Along with the snub mount

Didn't realize that ECS has warranty on most (or all) of their products  so they sent me replacements

While replacing my pass motor mount, found out my driver side was done with life also:thumbdown:

already have a replacement on its way from Rockauto, should be here tomorrow
Got tired of driving around with broken headlights (adjusters are broken on the current set), so I re-polished my old set.....the right way. The turtle wax kit I first use was aiiiight but it wasn't perfect for a $9 kit. So I polished mine the traditional way...wetsanding and Plastic x polish

Hopefully these should hold me over until I can get some ecodes and then I can throw these out.
This past weekend, I decided to tackle on the wheel repairs myself.....did a damn good job

Washed and cleaned them to get them ready for primer

Tomorrow, I'll finally put primer and paint them.
So what's next? Well since I'm going to SoWo, I want this car to drive with no major problems (not like it has given me any since I've been driving around as-is for the past year
) With that being said, I'll be doing a couple of checks on what needs to be replaced. I'll be replacing my windshield and Camchain tensioner, also fixing some stuff for inspection time. Hopefully if I can get my wheels on by this weekend, I'll look into finally getting an alignment soon.
What other cool sh*t I'll be getting done before then? Mainly the rest of my interior stuff
*wood floor
*fabric for the door cards
*woodgrain vinyl
And repaint parts of my trunk and rear bumper. More of that later...
After Sowo, I'll only have a few more things to add to the car and hopefully all I'll have to worry about from that point, is just to drive the car.....and that's it. God I miss that feeling, the feeling of driving a car you feel is complete in your mind...done in a way you feel that no more is needed to make it complete. Now, whenever I drive around, sometimes I think about what needs to be worked on, what needs to be changed, etc. such a crappy a feeling sometimes.
