i didnt weld them up myself but i paid for the beer and tequila haha! was able to get a buddy's friend to weld them up. He welds by trade and i wasnt confident in any weld that i would lay. I was glad that i got it done by him cause his beeds are on some jesse james type shit. If i could get some pic ill put'm up. Dont trip on the cups though, i got the lengths. Im gonna try to squeeze another inch of drop when aired out. I should be sittin on the motor support and draggin exhaust pipes down the road after that.

I'm pretty sure thats where this is headed as soon as the car runs properly and stops properly. I'm just curious about the cups for the bags, did you weld them up yourself??

As far as getting the car running just do what it takes. Dont go into spending too much money on the car to get it to run perfect. These cars arent worth shelling out the dough to run like they came from the dealership. Save the cash until you find a SEL with a v12 or a coupe. Those model benzs tend to hold value but these old sedans tend to just be sexy ass money pits.

Without shocks it lays out in the back and in the front its about half an inch till the motor support touches the floor. I have the shocks in now and it doesn't feel much lower then when I had it static up front. When I ran it with out shocks I was about half an inch from the top of the wheel. I can't turn for shit when aired out even with the shocks. Ill try to get some good pics up.

awesome, yea i found that aired out im about 1" from the wheel with shocks in up front, it was about 2" but took the bump stops out for a little more drop, rear the exhaust is sitting on the ground. probably tucking a couple inches of wheel at that point.

              and i LOVE IT

and yea when aired out turning is no good... dude on here has front fender basically at front rim and drives static... dunno how he does it haha

              lookin forward to pics

Another useless update: bled the brakes tonight, went for a drive and filled up the gas tank. So happy to be driving it now!! Going to get new tires and a licence plate sorted out tomorrow. I ordered E-Level for my daily tonight so the management will be coming out of that and going into the benz. Just need to build some bag brackets now!

I cut a coil off the rear springs and it sits much better now.
