No I haven't gotten it back but I still have my eye one it. As earl has mentioned I've acquired an e23 gray market import that I plan on building next to keep myself occupied. Along with a celica I'm wrapping up a beams swap on and rebuilding jack's bagged 318 compact.

dusted the gotti's off to mess with fitment, not sure if I still want to run them or not since I'll need custom adapters made.

rears will need 1/4" to get off the strut

front need at least a good 1" to clear the front strut.

a little more work, got the claybar done and started the waxing process.

here is the towel i was using after just waxing the roof and nothing more..

after that I'll for sure be getting compound to get most of the impurities and scratches out.

    yay waxing!

because everyone thinks the paint is in great shape, so here are some close ups AFTER clay bar/wax

    still looks decent from 30ft

no photos, but spend last night chasing down the driveablitly issues while i work on getting things together for exhaust. So far its narrowed downed to lack of exhaust (or o2 fouled), fuel pressure regulator, or timing is off a tooth. I have to take the timing cover off anyways to fix a gasket leak so while its off. If weather plays in my favor I should have the car up at work to re-bleed the brakes and align the rear since the toe adjustments are on.

since I have no photos, heres a video of my buddies rocco.

70 degree day in January, off work, broken car, and a hankering to use your camera leads to this. Condensation plus dust on everything gives it the gritty look…

so tonight beers where had, brakes were bled, and sherman once again left a smokey burnout down the street. I have to say that even though I still have a lot of work to do I'm glad to be back in the seat again. If the rain holds off I plan on bleeding the brakes again because it seems I have an air in the lines still and if I can put it on the alignment rack at work. I will add that I forgot how loud this car is, I feel exhaust will be going on soon.
