We spoke a few weeks ago, and I'm hoping that we get the ball rolling within the next 2 months. He said it should only take him about a week. That would be HUGE motivation to finish this thing. I still plan on painting it myself, but don't have the time to finalize the body work, I want it to look good.

    Andre, your '02 looks bitchin!
Exactly what I did with my car. Had been apart for 2+ years and was ready for finaly body work/paint. Started loosing motivation/time to work on it and put off working on it when I had the chance since sanding and sanding and sanding isn't fun. Decided to have someone else paint it for me and after getting it back in color reignited the flame!

I ordered the Manimal motor and tranny mounts so I will let you know how they work out. The car will be done when its done. No reason to rush the process if you have another car. Does suck not driving a 02 though.....

That is some great work! I would love to get into welding. Did you have some knowledge before jumping into it? Or did you just one day google welding for dummies haha. Keep up the great work!
