CubbyChowder finally got a BMW 2002 - it's project time
Space is pretty sweet dude. I'm sure it'll be nice to work in your own space and get paid to do what you like.
Just keep focus on your projects as they'll become credit to your craftsmanship.
"Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"
Congrats on the lift! Looking forward to pics as you build the shop. There's nothing like building a space from scratch and seeing it as an extension of yourself.
Well, what can i say? I just spent atleast 4½-5hrs reading all 30 pages and i can just say one thing, this 02 will look rad as hell when you'r finished, your welding skills has improved massivly since the first fixes in the floor up until the most recent fender wich looks like it's straight from the factory.
Just missed my opportunity to pick up a 1972's BMW 1602 for 420 bucks wich was quite a bummer, although the same guy is also selling a 73' 2002 wich was just an empty chassie with a body on wich he is asking 500 dollars for. I'm quite tempted to go check it out as i'm going on a massive 1hr drive to the town where he lives tomorrow for some business.
The 1602 he had was quite rust eaten though so i'm not expecting anything special from the 2002
(if i check it out) wich seemed to have been raced with or atleast prepared for racing as there was the begining for a rollcage in it.
There is just one last question that i have to ask, how do i subscribe to project builds?
