Very cool! Loving the progress so far. How was it using that wiring harness?

Im happy with the seats besides the fact that you can not side mount them. They only have mounting provisions that work with slider brackets. I am also not sure if they work with 5 point harnesses and I'd like to run 5 point belts for competitions. I'd like a welded in half cage down the road, and the dash really needs some work. I am thinking that I will use this flexible bondo stuff 3M makes to fill the cracks, and then flock the whole thing in grey. The floor pans could use some love as well and the bottom side of the roof needs some por 15 or something.
Right now I am thinking Ill get the car painted, then order the parts I need to weld the cage in (I already have the main hoop), weld in the cage and finish the rest of the interior tid bits.

It is ether Atlantic or Riviera not sure....
Here is the color chart for all the BMW 2002's.

For those of you who do not know, I am a Sous Chef at a catering company in SF CA. I cook for a living and love it... most of the time
This was dinner tonight. Cooked some good stuff because the girl friend was feeling down. Organic air chilled chicken with butter, thym and Meyer lemons. The sides are some cauliflower, onions and garlic that were roasted with the chicken and white wine, and a Caesar salad with a boiled egg and thym butter and olive oil croutons.

I got a few small parts today. I was suppose to get two m22x1.5-10an fittings for the oil feed lines from the block to the cooler, how ever I had to order them from two different suppliers and one of them sent me the wrong parts! That is after they said the part was "in stock" and then told me they did not have it and had to drop ship it from their supplier. Super lame!!! I am sending the fitting back.
I also got my urethane e21 steering rack bushings for the manual rack conversion from Bavarian Autosport.
And a sick steam cleaner to clean my engine bay before I cut all the unnecessary brackets out and paint it. I have wanted one of these for a while! Iy should help me keep my cars and engine bay clean further down the road as well.
My oil cooler and a few other odds and ends should be in later on this week as well. I still need to measure the length for my oil cooler lines and go get them from Morgans Machine and Speed Shop. Then next month I will order my last parts from Blunttech. After that it is just a waiting game till April.

I dont remember. I found them a good time ago. I wish I knew the fitment. Cant be much bigger then 15x8. I think thats about the limit for a non flared BMW 2002. No idea on offset. I know a 2002 needs at least 4.5" of back space...
