Come down more in the rear? I can't even get my finger between the tire and fender lip. And judging by the melted rubber on the lip and the rub spots all along the tire, I don't think going lower in the rear would be a good idea.

The fronts will come down another half inch or so, just need to find the coilover wrench thinger first.

But thanks for the compliments. It was definitely a gamble to go with these wheels and this color combo since no one else has really done it, but I think it worked well in the end. I have some black center caps I'm going to polish and then toss in to see how they look.

As of now, I'm not going lower in the rear. In person, it looks way different than the pictures. You also have to look at where the rear bumper sits compared to the side skirts and front bumper. It would look a lot different if the rear bumper line followed the side skirts.

Fronts will come down, but rears will stay the same most likely.

Car has changed quite a bit. I rebuilt the RS and got rid of the gold hardware and they are now for sale. In the meantime I was rocking some stock wheels:



And then I picked up a set of BMW Style 264s. And now those are on the car:

I don't know. I'm really mixed about selling the wheels. I'm not in any sort of rush to sell them and if I don't get around my asking price I'll keep them before selling them just to sell them. But if they do sell, I'll pick up something else. I like these, but they're too plain to be my only wheels.

Thanks for the compliments. The color theme was the main reason they got taken apart. That, and I didn't want the BFI hardware on there anymore. And I agree about the hood, I'm trying to go for as stock as I can get on the outside (besides lower and wheels).

RS's could look good with silver centers. A volvo doens't need a outstanding color on the wheels.
But any other wheel will be better, and far more original.
