Why do old BMW's have such a wierd smell??

Finally got the rears springs in but ended up using a rear e36 raceland spring and the adjuster on top and then an e30 drop hat on the bottom.. Good thing i save old parts

Cut off the stock perch and used an e36 rear adjuster
