Hardly, love your build, one of the first threads I look at on here each time I visit...

That factory paint is surprisingly average. Barely any coverage on the inside of the doors etc. And how're you going to mate an SR20 to an RB gearbox? I didn't know it could be done!

Definitely in for updates on this. Any updates on the boot lid? Keep working, sir!
I'll probably be rebuilding the engine at the end of the year so I'll look at that then

Bolted up an SR engine to RB25 box is simply, we use adapters plates and job is done, can be supplied if needed.

Its been a long time since I had an update on the RX8, with that I took a spin up to Gripfab yesterday to deliver some parts and sort out a plan for getting the project moving again. Of course the first thing was to roll her into the workshop and get the rear wheels on to see what kind of a challenge lay ahead.

Another look at the monster calipers :

They don't stick out that much :

Brendan helping to lower the car to give up an idea of where it will sit

She is going to look evil :

A good shot of the v-mount, fans yet to be fitted :

Bottles for the pedal box located in with the wiper motor :

Fitted the bonnet to see if the vents will work with the mounting of everythng :

    Cage looking bad ass :

The Equips vrs the Works, dropped them up for William :

Planning on cutting away the black section on the rear of the bumper :

And next job is to go up and blow out the arches, tubbing the rears for a full day before she gets prepped to go to the bodyshop :

    Cheers fella...

So made the trip up to Gripfab the weekend to drop off the Brides, Takata Harness's, Dash, Sparco snap off boss kit and Sparco Wheel. First time I've seen the car since the start of August, she is looking a little sorry for herself with no engine and box but fingers crossed I'll have her back in early December with only the exterior to finish

Fingers crossed anyways Luckily I have some help from GripFab, their driver Brendan Stone won the Irish Time Attack Series and this year won Prodrift Drift Championship so he'll be well capable of advising me.

If I could afford to keep it rotary I would mate, problem in Ireland is we have to bring the car to the UK to get a properly built engine and for a triple rotor built, fitted and mapped your looking at £25k sterling as I've already priced it
