Awesome job dude! I wasn't sure about the color in the first few pics, but reassembled it looks great! I always love textured bits too And the HREs just fit it perfectly!

    Keep it up

Hmmmm 10 months without an update to this thread. Think I should rectify that?

what kind of modifications did you have to do to make the mk4 mirrors fit?
Firstly: they're mk3.5 cabrio mirrors, not mk4 mirrors. You could probably use mk4 mirrors, but you'd have to rewire the harness to adapt the the mk4 wiring.

secondly: about the only thing you have to do is cut off i believe its the middle of the 3 mounting studs. Only two of them line up with the mk3 body holes. or you could cut the door up a bit to accomodate the stud locations of the 3.5 mirrors.

You should post pictures of it in Ramon's garage in pieces during the SC build...that was a catastrophe & is sure to win over any remaining nay sayers...although I just can't imagine how there could be any. I think that anyone who reads this build thread and feature needs to apply enormous amounts of pressure to your pride to ensure this makes it to SoWo. The entire country needs to experience this masterpiece in person at least once.

If I can sell your left nut for $15k, then yes you've got a deal. That would be some 24k spunk.

Haha, ok. Because of your username, post count, and register date, I thought you might be one of my friends fucking with me.
