Congrats on the S|W feature. A well deserve one at that. I can't believe you still have it after 12years and if you haven't married your girlfriend yet, I'm driving over there to kick you from behind directly in the nuts

Married for 6 yrs and have a 3yr old son.
You should post pictures of it in Ramon's garage in pieces during the SC build...that was a catastrophe & is sure to win over any remaining nay sayers...although I just can't imagine how there could be any. I think that anyone who reads this build thread and feature needs to apply enormous amounts of pressure to your pride to ensure this makes it to SoWo. The entire country needs to experience this masterpiece in person at least once.
One of the best looking mk3s out there!
what kind of modifications did you have to do to make the mk4 mirrors fit?
Firstly: they're mk3.5 cabrio mirrors, not mk4 mirrors. You could probably use mk4 mirrors, but you'd have to rewire the harness to adapt the the mk4 wiring.
secondly: about the only thing you have to do is cut off i believe its the middle of the 3 mounting studs. Only two of them line up with the mk3 body holes. or you could cut the door up a bit to accomodate the stud locations of the 3.5 mirrors.
