So over this past weekend i traded the w126 for an e36 in maryland, its a 318 m44 equipped 5spd 4cylindere. It could use some love on the out side, but overall im very pleased with the car.
body is pretty straight and everything is there, car sits on rokkor coils still has the perches in the rear (not for long) and is half way down in the front.... It was owned by a fellow member on the forums Isaac and you might have scene it in the classifieds sections on the board. Heres the only pics i have that he had taken when he owned it

Current wheels
1 full set of style 32s
1 full set of style 29s
current suspension
Rokkor coils maxed out in the rear with perches, and half way down in the front
They ride surprising well, but are still quite soft
Future plans
-New coils with stiffer rates, if i play my cards right and stop drinking for a week i will be on some superduper ultra awesome coils
-New oem amber corners and oem tails to replace the tinted ones (already ordered)
-Custom vertical e brake lever hand machined on a lathe and mounted forward for easy access to pull
-Personal 350mm deep wheel and quick release hub
-Install my buddy club racing Speacial edition seat, If anyone know a seat rail manufacture that will work with that seat please let me know
-Welded rear diff, or m3 diff if that is even possible
- New non M bumper cover
- Repaint the car satin black
As far as wheels go im up for anything besides style 5's
but really dont have a clue yet, im new to e36 fitment but from what ive gathered 9f 10r / 9.5f 10.5r seem pretty feasable and like a good size i just dont know what yet... really wanted to do cobra r wheels or 5 zigen fn01r-c but as to my conclusion after searching they do not come in 5x120 and i'd like to stay away from adapters... Why you ask?!
Well from my list you might be able to see where im going with this, i Have full intention to slide this car... You may say Jake your crazy, it has an under powered m44 what in gods name are you thinking? Are you going to swap it? The answer is no ladies and gentlemen, i dont really plan to do much performance modifications either because although the car is under powered, with the right suspension setup and some adjusments, and having a pair insted of an empty sack this car will slide no problem.. I've already had this car sideways 2nd and 3rd gear through turns full lock in the dry.. All it takes is a little weight transfer, momentum and a slight clutch kick from the spec stage 2 clutch and she slides pretty ok
So for now that all i have and look forward to starting this project/dailey driven/ drift missile
Sincerly that idiot with the purple civic
