yesterday i decided to lower the back a whole load more took an extra 20mm off the ride height. hopefully be removing the rear perches soon to get it a bit lower. heres some pics:
Hey there. been fairly quiet on here recently, but been busy none-the-less. slowly getting the beema together for some shows this summer. heres the run down of what ive been doing.
Popped out the front kidney grilles and gave em a coating of black paint. the chrome didnt really tie in with the black angle eyes and tinted indicators, didnt fancy spending 30 odd quid on a set off ebay, so just whipped over the existing ones with a coat of primer and paint. heres how they came up.. not too bad me thinks.
burnt out the old 215 paradas on the rear too, lucklily a mate had some 205/40s kicking about, so bunged em on. got a fair bit more stretch now and barely no rubbing. just wanna get some spacers on next:
E46 328 caliper carriers have just been blown over with some black paint to freshen up a bit. just gotta order up some 300mm discs then put em on...
also removed rear carpets and cut holes into the underlay for a custom made rear strut brace that me and my dad are fabricating out of stainless steel:
Started cleaning up the engine bay a little too. considering painting all the plastic trims up in crackle black so it looks a little cooler. lol
also purchased this little bad boy arch roller. planning on flaring all four arches and putting 10mm spacers up front and 15s out back to make the car a little wider:
apart from that. just done a oil change, new timing chain tensioner seals to keep it running sweet, thermostat change cos it ran cold, new coolant and now it runs proper mint...
