You already had my respect.
But to say eff it and decide to build your own chassis (after just starting to weld) and do it in 14 hours is an achievement on a whole other level.
Your making me:
- want to pull the trigger on getting a garage
- want to work on something RIGHT NOW
- feel like I'm dragging my feet IN LIFE!
Thanks for this kick in the ass! I'm going to get moving!
Loving the truck. That chassis looks like it was put together by a seasoned professional.

Really good update, do you have a time for completion at all? Not a huge fan of the hotrod thing but can seriously appricate the work that gets put into them. The fabrication is on another level on the builds.

I have an idea of where this is going visually and I'm positive it will be tight but I'm really interested to see what's going to make up the drivetrain.
--keep it period correct/old school/loud as hell?
--put something reasonable to the style but more fuel efficient/reliable(it is a shop truck, stuff will go in the back for transport)?
--go mental cross brand engine swaps?
.....thought about diesel?i am too old for this shit.
