And yeah that is sort of rediculous. You did nothing wrong but drop the F bomp a couple of times and direct it towards a moderator.

As for trying to be helpful, all my knowlege is from Subaru's with mechanical diffs, I really have no knowlege of how the vr4 works, But as long as you get the rolling diameter exactly the same you should be okay. I would say running the same width all the way around is your best bet, but since you already have the wheels you will need to experiment with different sizes to get everything right. I cant think of any Ive seen off hand but you could search around to see if there are any quattros, subys, evos, etc running a staggered setup.

I dont suppose you could fit 12s up front too could you haha?
i haven't tried but i honestly don't have the money for either all 10's or all 12's. a forum member on here (Ollie) is making a deal with me where my dad and i help him with the paint and bodywork on his M3, and in exchange for our labor he's hooking me up with these wheels and helping me out with the set up and fitment of them. his car is sitting in my yard for the winter and possibly into the summer, and depending on how much i get for my E30 (after i fix the rust, paint it and sell it), my dad said he's willing to help me buy ollie's car as my own track and possible drift car, so i'd just buy the wheels from him then most likely, but for now they're basically getting fronted to me.

and i looked into it on 3si at one point (till i got suspended), and running the staggered set up isn't an issue as long as the rolling diameter is the same, so we have to figure out some careful calculations so i can match the fronts, but at the same time i don't want an insane amount of stretch

if that MOD didn't delete the comments i could prove that he was literally mocking my dad, who suggested basically that everybody in the thread needed to control their-selves. he first started by asking him to use proper punctuation (i guess he was using "....." a lot), and then when my dad replied again the MOD was like "thanks....for...the.....input" clearly mocking MY DAD, and I get suspended? some dickbag 26 year old is not gonna say that to a 49 year old man in person... fuck him i'm gonna make this work haha

Those wheels look great. Some more tuck and camber and it will be perfect. Your post on 3si was not out of line at all

more reasons why i like it here better! and for anyone who is checking out that thread, hotrodln (who is now posting) is actually my father. he made an account a while ago so he could post what he's learned about these cars through the restoration of mine, and has contributed alot. now one of the mods is being a complete asshole to him. i can't actually believe it, some loser fucking 26 year old being a smart ass to a 49 year old contributing member, really? i swear i'll cry if you guys start pulling this crap

edit: thanks man! and yeah the stretch is a bit heavy for me too but if it's safe and proven, why not? lol and i'm definitely trying to be different with one of these cars, and am currently getting so much heat over it too. i never thought people would be so hostile over it!

yes they are, and basically as long as i keep the rolling diameter the same i can stagger the wheels. i specifically asked this question on 3si asking "since i have 235's in front and 255's in the back, is it that much of a difference that will eat up the VCU or what?", and that got completely ignored for a few pages and then some guy commented "well you should learn about rolling diameters before you destroy your VCU...".... oh my god they make me so angry haha fuck 3si...

can anyone help me answer this question? it's a 93 vr4. 3si is a bunch of dickheads and aren't really helping me out here ;(

thanks man! i've always wanted to see one of these done right, so i guess i'll be the first to do it haha and i don't care what they think, but when an 18 year old is getting sworn at by a bunch of 25 year olds telling me that i have bad taste and what they think is good taste, that just doesn't make sense and pisses me off. you can't tell me what i'm supposed to think looks good is what i'm getting lol especially having adults being hostile over it?? i posted the same pictures there i did here and made it clear that they were for test fitment and get chewed apart. shows how mature they are as well as how much of my posts they actually read
