They didn't look correct with the 2008 boot plinth upgrade. Notice the tinted tails had the older silver-painted piece. I like the updated piece and its the only one in the country as far as I know.

Thanks. It's an X-Type by the way. I've never been to fond of the S-Type either - except the R model.

Bolt pattern on all factory Jaguar wheels is 5x108, right? Do you happen to know if there are adapters available for 4x100 cars?
I have them built for me by motorsport-tech (aka Adaptec). I doubt you can get them TUeV-zugelassen in over here (I say here, because I am typing from the Ritz in Wolfsburg at the moment).

      Beautifully executed as always.
Thanks, man. Means a lot from an old school PNW VW scene guy!

Thanks. I envy the aftermarket support and performance though that your car has. I need to make and imprt wierd stuff for this car.

Winter wheels are off, so time to update the build thread. Mercedes W140 S-Class wheels, circa 1996 vintage.

These were on my old Volvo 850 wagon back in 2004 when I imported them in from Germany. They changed owners a few times and I eventually bought them back after many years.

              2002 Infiniti I35 ( 6 speed swap in progress )
2004 Nissan Maxima SE 6 speed ( Closest car to being "stanced" )
2003 Nissan Maxima SE 6 Speed
              2002 Lincoln LS
On the verge of being Stanced

The E Classes had the 16" version. The 18s were mainly on the W140 coupes, but some of the sedans had them also. I don't think the US cars ever got them.

Thanks. I think the future will be a Jaguar XK Coupe though. Won't be much more happening to this, but I want to buy a bigger house, so XK is about a year away. Until then I'll just switch between the 5 or 6 sets of wheels I have to get by. I do need a change every once in a while.

Redrill and hubcentric rings, no adapters this time. That is why it took so long - I bought these in December I think.

Thanks. I'm just happy they weren't messed up after three owners and 6 years not in my possession. There were a few nicks that 800 grit sand paper resolved, but they took decent care of them.

i love your car, jeremy. i love all your cars haha. my favorite wheels are the xf-r or whatever the fat five spoke ones are. im a sucker for big wheels on slammed cars. I agree that the RS look alikes arent the best looking ones...they look too dated for the car. but at the same time, they still manage to look awesome
