In August I bought this bone stock 1981 Celica ST coupe, first year of the 22R motor (consist of a lot of 20R parts), it was a really reliable daily while I was doing volunteer work at the Portland Art Musuem.

^this is 1.5/2 coils off back in September.

Nothing crazy is done to it, I converted the trim to GT, so now it has a passenger mirror and the proper door glass, also has GT pieces here and there inside the cabin space, a GT wheel also accommodates itself well, upon the fine preserved gauge cluster and woodgrain back paneling. The motor is a overhauled 22R with 12K on it 115K on the chassis, 2 1/4 inch exhaust to 2.5" test pipe (LCE replica I made), sounds very good and runs extremely well.

Bummer is even though it has a fresh 22R in it, it's automatic...

My tags went bad in December and I'm broke so I decided while I was bored why not lower it more. Here are pictures of the aftermath, 2 stacked 2x4s, a lot of patience moving jacks to tow hooks and you get!...

These will be going on soon 14x7 -10 I have 5 of these.

^Thank you, It's now going to be my track thrasher. I'm waiting to get more funds to 4AG swap it with some 40mm Mikuni's and pair that with a Mk.II Supra W58. Suspension wise it is awaiting AE86 coil overs.

Ignore my sunken front wheels they have good 195s, it will be a lot better once the 14s go on it, and get some NCRCAs.

Nice Celica, I had quite a few back in the day(74,77,80,81 and a 83), my 83 had a 4age swap and all though it wasnt 100%, it held its own. I wish I still had my celicas and hell, wish I had all my cars I used to own. Lol

Cant wait to see the outcome man

Haha thanks! This is the first coupé I have owned in a while, I've had a lot of Cressida's and Corona's in the previous years. I really love the bigger coupes though, they're attractive. It will be nice to go 4AG, I'm aiming to wrap things up around next year. You are lucky, I wish I could get my hands on a RA22/28/29, they're usually out of my budget or require too much work.

I need to see what happens with finding another fender, I might have another candidate for the sharknose project if you could handle a bastard bosozoku sharknose hi-lux. Then again....

Also Josh! I'm getting a chin lip for Christmas so it will look a lot better.

Okay fine, I will start once the weather isn't so poor because my Audi is in the garage. (Celica has a cover). I might be getting a parts lift back and swap over the W50, and do sharknose LB. Awaiting chin lip give me 2 weeks, 14x7 -10s will be going up front with the 195/60s (I have them and they have good tread). Hopefully for my bday I'll get 15x9 -30 Hayashi reps *sad face* but I can't afford $5500 for a set of wheels.

Gonna try to get it set up to sled and skate around PARC. As for exhaust I'm going to be fabricating a 3" Y-pipe with twin 3" tips gonna extend 7" past the rear bumper, going to angle it up 15deg and 25deg left, going for a VIP style look, ultimately I'm trying to go for a sleek junker VIP look I have no intention of painting it.

Also which ever car LB or coupe (leaning more towards LB) gets sharknose, I'm going to use angled mx73 head lights!

you don't need $5500 for a set of wheels. you can get a decent set of used legit wheels for ~$1200.
do everything else you listed. take lots of pictures.

This... You just gotta be willing to search for them. I found my friend Andrew a set of Rotiform BLQ's for under $1,000.
