Sorry about your thread bud, this place is going down hill. I remember when there was only constructive criticism, now there's just straight bashing, a la BF.c and E46f
Fuck H8rs. Do your thing. Now if you posted the plastidipped bumper in the showroom I would say something. But you're building your car, thus the build thread. Bashing your thread in here is the equivalent to walking into a construction site and calling the contractors idiots because they don't even have windows.

Gorgeous volvo man, my first car was a 1990 240dl. It just recently died with 400,000-450,000 miles on it! I'll have to check to see what it is exactly. Really sturdy cars haha
i've never heard of this "plastidip" u speak of... is it like a paint of some kind?
You can get it in spray can version or paint version. I think originally it was used for dipping handles of tools. You know the pliers and stuff with the rubbery handles that have little nipples on the end? Thats what plasti dip is.
With the spray can version you can spray paint whatever you want. The cool thing about plasti-dip is that it is removable. So you need to use at least three good coats to get it thick enough on the surface. If it isn't thick enough then it won't peel off when you want it to. Heres a video of someone removing plasti-dip from their rim.
To all of the people concerned with / defending the bashing and unwelcome behavior... you'll understand soon enough with this guy.
Dude, the only reason things got rough on E46F was because Southpaw, hyewarrior and once in a while gheybe would troll the sh1t out of me. I'm here, i'm full of compliments and I just want to chill without some internet thugs trolling me all the time lol. Ok?
i like it man, not really a bmw fan because of the over abundance of them on here, that aside, do shit your own way. i have a honda element, ***** the grey plastic fenders, so i plastidipped them black, said and done.
To be honest I like your car the way it is. I don't know what plastdipped means (Some form of spraycanning?)
From what I can see and would do with the car is change rims (as you said yourself) together with a badass color on the rims with polished out section (dont know the name >_>, in norwegian: brønn)
Less tyre, something like 35/40/45. From what I can see its 55 on there now? Correct me if im wrong

Plasti-dip is a plastic/rubber spray paint. I plasti-dipped my front bumper matte black and it doesn't match my gloss black car and I agree that I need to fix that asap. Thats what the problem is. Also I plasti-dipped my rims matte blue and people don't like that but I love the color and think it goes well with the black car.
Yea I need to get bigger rims and I do have bigger rims, I just need to get more tires and roll/pull my fenders so they will fit The tires that will be going on my rims are 225/35/18 unless I need to go smaller or maybe I can go bigger. We'll see!
People are giving you crap for plasti-dipping the bumper because it wouldn't have been much harder to just paint the whole thing with rattle cans. That would have turned out just fine and you could have kept the MT2 bumper on, looking good, the whole time. Now you've already taken the time to do a decent rattle can job with plasti-dip have to remove it all when it's time to paint the bumper, and generally just do more work than you have to in order to accomplish your said end goal. You're lucky enough to have a black car too, which is much easier to paint match than, say, my green. You can go to any auto parts store and get all the stuff you need for about 40 bucks. None of us actually care that you didn't bother to do this, but it's just that we need to point out the flaw in your logic.
All the people 'flaming' you are really just trying to get the best out of you and your car. Don't take 'bad' comments as negative.
