Few pics from last night. Got some more work done earlier today, about to go back out and grind out a few more hours.

Our local forum decided to ruin a 10 year tradition and not host any kind of end of year bbq, or let the forum know they had no plans. So we held our own and they told us not to use their name at a freaking park gtg. For "liability" reasons. So being as it's mostly me and a bunch of our friends who are active enthuists around our area, we have made it apparent to say fuck them, sarcastically of course. Meaning we still continue to organize meets and post build threads/pics with shit like this. Cold feet around there now for sure.

      So here's today's update.

I extended the loom to one of the fuses. Also connects some wires back in the cowl. Then started to extend the engine harness tonight. Will finish it up tomorrow. Just a lot of tedious soldering left really.

First half of the day. Fuse loom extended.

How the bay is looking so far. So grimey, but that will get fixed when the motor gets pulled.

Harness to motor extended. Will connect it tomorrow and some others.

Yeah, I'm happy I've kept it though. It only continues to get better imo.

its so cool to see how much cars change over so much time. and i thought it was cool back then too. hope my mk2 makes it this long with me. and i can get to the level where i feel like pulling the motor. all my cars seem to get killed before their time.

Everything extended. Need to re-route the maf wiring still. Then it's time to connect everything back up and slap it back together.

It's been a hectic week for me to say the least. I managed to work on it earlier this week a tad, then tonight some more.

Some wires routed through the fender support.

Then tonight got a lot of things where they need to go. Just need to connect the abs, hook up battery cables, and wire up the air ride again. Hopefully it starts.

Finished for the time being. I need to do timing chains and clutch soon, so once I do that I'm going to pull the motor and finish the bay. Also getting a new intake and pipe made that will help cover up most of the transmission and such. I figure it's an easy way to achieve a cleaner look in the bay since I do not plan to go very crazy with things.
