Are the rear arch heights the same? I was thinking it would be similar to early versus late e30's

ah, lol. Exterior aesthetics-wise, the early e23s from 78 to 82 had the shark nosepanel like the e24, the chrome mirrors, and if it was a euro, then the front bumper was slightly more pointed, as well as the side rear trim being thin like the rest of the moldings.
