all the angles are finally good. just have to replace this mount. was an attempt to correct the angles and failed when i tightened the bolts. better then than while i'm driving back up to new york!
it'll be here tomorrow with a new axle and i'm doing a seal on the passenger side so i got new tranny fluid
weird, right? 12 bucks a liter D=<

i **** cobalts too...you have no idea how much of a pain this thing is. they're butt ugly stock. fast, but ugly. i owed money on it when i started the build, once it started coming together i just grew to love it. the amount of work i've done just to get this thing to sit nicely on wide wheels is just absurd.

modified engine mounts, raised 1/2" either side
shimmed rear trans mount 1"
lowered front trans mount 1/4"
shifter linkage nig rigged for now, broke somehow.
...rear toe pulling me all over the road
passenger side axle seal seeping (got seal)
driver side axle shot (got axle)
got new saab manual trans fluid (yes my car is a saab)
tow hook drags on the ground, and is very satin pink.
felt so good to drive again. just gotta get that rear toe in check. my car will be at old town in kissimmee, fl tomorrow night 5pm

so i did all of the above today.
that's how far off my rear toe was. now it's straight as an arrow. camber's even, alignment is good. i'm all set now. new trans fluid, axle, seal, i did a lot of work to this thing this week and it's been back breaking. it feels so good to finally have a stanced ccobalt that drives better than a lowered cobalt on stock struts
