thanks man. i was actually not too satisfied with how it came out, so i put more filler on it and got it baby bottom smooth. it looks really professional now, and i hope whoever i let paint this thing can do a nice job. i'm seriously impressed by myself. i didn't think it was going to come out this good.

I know that's the look you want, but it could be heaps better by taking off half the dangly bits and stickers. I like the work you've put into it though, keep posting so I can continue to enjoy what you're doing.
Edit: A car can have character without looking like shit. Not that yours does, but I'm just saying.
When you say you don't have a budget to keep it clean, that just doesn't make sense to me. Don't spend money on stickers and other nonsense and presto chango you'll have more of a budget for big things. Sorry man, I'm just really not feeling it. There's so much going on and it really detracts from the overall look

.
Paper thin fenders for the win!!!!! ........... I wrapped my tires in tin foil and masking tape,,,, and fiberglassed over the tin foil..... while the suspension was at full drop
Fiberglass doesn't stick to tin foil....... and it will keep your tires and rims looking clean......... the key is having the car at full drop..... or no suspension and use a jack to raise the tires into the fenders

I also feel you on spending all of my money on my car. That's exactly where I'm at haha

i enjoy this thread for the sheer amount of polarizing discussion that this cobalt seems to bring out in people. you either love it or **** it, and both sides have made really relevant arguments either way. One thing i find is that if you dislike this build then at least you can use that to guide yourself in a direction opposite to it, within your own build. Even if you **** something, you can still use that **** in a positive way.
with that being said, i'm really curious how this whole car turns out in the end.
also, stickers might looks better if they were more uniform in their application, rather than how they are now, which kind of look sparse and haphazard.
keep it up
