here's a 63 that twisted minis built on bags. black and gangsta on stock wheels and hub caps. Sorry I cant post up just the pics of it. My work system blocks my internet abilities.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure. I love old Mercedes. I vote for stock steelies with hubcaps. A lot of potential here. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I like the one posted above, with the exception of the stripe on the side.
