Hey stanceworks, I've been a lurker since I first found out about rusty slammington a year ago. I'm a mechanic and metal fabricator from Los Angeles. I just picked up my newest project for dirt cheap, a 1966 w110 mercedes-benz 200.
I've already found a new hood and grill now im just looking for a fender and wheels. Which is where I need your help. The car is going to be a static drop and i need to decide what wheels I want.
Option 1 I'm thinking about is these whitewalls on the stock wheels/hubcaps
The other option I like is to put modern mercedes wheels on this classic. I love the look of the modern amg wheels on this benz
With any newer benz wheels ill need spacers anyways so it doesnt matter if they are 5x114 or 5x112. I'm kind of digging these 17'' amg wheels
What do you guys suggest for wheels? The car is going to be ratty, low and loud.
