Honestly, I couldn't agree more. I had no idea I'd be able to fit 8.5's so easily.

I fully intend on upsizing wheels in the near future. This was all unfamiliar territory for me, as I think I'm the first person to ever do this on this platform, so onwards and upwards from here.

I think the next sizing will be 17x9 and 17x9.5 or 10. Offsets yet to be determined. But for now I'll finish it on these wheels and drive it/enjoy it for a while.

New wheels should be on for H20i, I'm sure.


And I think you're correct, 205/45's would have been a better choice.

I picked up a Wings West lip the other night, wasn't looking for one but the opportunity came about to pick one up pretty cheap, so I jumped on it.

Really had no intention of using it, but had a spare bumper kicking around so mounted it up kinda half-assed and spray bombed it and the grilling in the bumper, and decided tonight I'd throw it on.

I'm absolutely astonished at how it changed the car, and I intend to be using it, as well as getting another bumper, having them both painted and getting some tip of flip-down-hide-away lisence plate majigger.
