Yeah, after years of saving and planing its all coming together. The cart build is still on here but i haven't gotten a chance to really build it since all my money is dumped into this build.

So I'm slowly but steadily getting things ready and prepped for paint. Since in a DIY kind of guy and enjoy every second i put into this truck so i will do as much as i can till i feel as if i will ruin something.
I cut off some tacked welded nuts on my shock crossmember where my compressors/manifold will be located at. Re welded in a few weak welded spots and then stripped down all the rust, grim, and paint from it.
Then finally i sprayed some primer over it so rust doesn't take over.
Now i am starting on the tank. Now i was going to try and strip it down and run a polished tank but i think a painted tank is going to look better and also be able to keep cleaner over time since this truck will be driven and not sat in a garage everyday.
Currently in the process of rust / paint removal with other part's that i'll throw up on here once completed.
Ive posted up a few picture's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back early in the build of my dad's 73'' Chevy Nova SS. Well while i have been saving money and collecting parts since the fall i have been helping my pop's restore the car with some new school.
The interior is just about finished minus the gauges and new steering wheel.
Quick snapshot of the inside. Hooked it up with some 4-Point harnesses for the 700+ HP transplant that's going into it soon.
So a lot of you may wonder what's the point of having "Notched" tie rods, well the purpose is, with stock rods you cannot lay frame flat without either having custom built notched rods or cutting the frame in a horse show design. I just had got some steel tubing bent and then had a buddy thread it for me.
Here is what guys to do notch the frame. They just notch the frame small enough for the tie rods to slip up in there when laying out. Iv'e heard horror stories around this idea so i just decided to build tie rods and take the easy safe way out.
