Need to get lower if a full size is as high as your s10 haha

Yeah i wish i had room to go lower without having to do any frame work to it :/ Currently in the process of deciding if i even want to bag it. Might just keep it static and rebuild the whole chassis.Originally posted by 99sil-teg View PostNeed to get lower if a full size is as high as your s10 haha

Thank's man. Yeah pictures of my truck don't do any justice cause in reality the body sits 3 - 3/4 inchs above the frame but i am actually really low frame wise. I have a picture on the other page of the frame/phone picture.Originally posted by kaidotech View PostTruck looks amazing with the new wheels. Great job man! Didnt realize how low it was either until I saw the iPhone comparison lol
I get the "Lower It" term and all that stuff alot but it doesn't bother me cause i know i am low just pictures done show lol.

Now I'm not an expert with mini trucks, but wouldn't it be kinda easy to chop the bed and frame for the rear and just install coil overs? Sure bags are more fun, but I think a static low mini truck would be awesome. (and a little cheaper to build too lol)

I'm in the same boat here. Freaking frame on both of our trucks sits so much lower than the body. I already scrape the downpipe from the exhaust manifold and the cat as it is before anything elseOriginally posted by way2fastx3 View PostThank's man. Yeah i mean i am going to do a build-up on here on what i am going to do BUT... Yes bags are expensive for truck just cause it requires alot of frame work and time. You could install coils be in reality the frame sits so high on the body of the truck you would have to body drop it. It might look / sound easy but its alot of work.Originally posted by NorCalFocus View PostNow I'm not an expert with mini trucks, but wouldn't it be kinda easy to chop the bed and frame for the rear and just install coil overs? Wanted the rear to sit more low! I so got rid of what was left of the bump stops.
It wasn't much but knowing i did that now makes me feel some what a tad lower.

CHANGE IN PLANS!
I have been thinking about the whole idea of bagging / body dropping the truck and after this weekend at the Carlisle, PA Truck Nationals it hit me.... EVERYONE AND THERE MOTHER does a bagged S-10!
I am going to keep the truck static 100%! I like being unique and keeping it static but i am going to have to step up my game ALOT to get any sort of stance going on!
You bimmer people might like this..... Once i stop driving the truck as my daily and pick up a new daily driver the real work is going to begin. I have a few BMW guys who are building a e36 Track/Drift Car and there not going to be using the rear sub-frame and all the suspension with it so i am going to take that and fabricate it somehow to the rear of the truck so i can go low and low can go and also run crazy camber. Still figuring out what i am going to do with the front issue on lowness but ill get there.
I want to get out of my bull crap stage with this build and start cracking down on some real work.

A view of what the camber would look like after it would be done.

Yes! It would be awesome for people to ask about your bag set up and then just be like "I'm static" haha
