heck i used to share my sisters car and i wanted to lower it and put an exhaust on it so bad... I never lowered it but one day she was out of town so I took it to the exhaust shop real early one day, had a fat ass cannon muffler put on, punched around town all day and then took it off the next morning before she got home. I was 18 and it was the funest shit ever. i still remember that day

Sometimes we are not in a position to really do what we want to cars. This thread is a case in point and we all know how satisfying working on cars is. good work on swapping springs out with your dad.

I still enjoy reading threads that show decent pics and something I might learn from... in this case I did... that a popping can be a crushed shock and that e34's usually have a 5 finger gap. I say keep it up and one day when you have your own car you may decide to go lower.... but until now, hell, I'm happy to see this thread listed and check in now and again. even if you aint bangin' no frame.

You know I had an E34 for a while. I cut 2 coils off the front and a coil off the rear and it was about that height. I never posted it on here BECAUSE IT WASNT LOW. If you dont plan on lowering the car more, i am afraid you have come to the wrong forum .Also this forum has the most diverse cars I have ever seen from any other forum, and that is why I enjoy browsing these pages. Really though? To call anything from a rabbit to a viper cookie cutter because they share one thing in common, being that they are slammed? You have absolutely no appreciation for what we do here.

This forum is for the love of stance and in all honesty there is no real definition that says "stance" has to be a inch off the ground..

anyways im not gonna continue too keep this bickering going in this mans thread i wish i was a moderator i would lock this thread for being way off topic

Yeah it could be because of how i worded my post, but i highly doubt it.

See I think its something else, I think its just a chance for people to bash someone else's car. To the person that stated this wasn't worth posting?

@ Pavel, Because it IS a new low, a new low for the car....I could fit 5 fingers in there before
So no, i don't think i will GTFO of here, i think i'm gonna stay and watch you fume over it(also, what the hell is bf.c?).....BTW, I kinda like your car, looks really nice(I'm a big fan of white BMWs).

See what I don't get is why you folks bash because a car isn't 1/4 inch off the ground, sure, it may not be as low as yours, but for some of us, 1 inch down is low enough, I have nothing to show off, proclaim, nor boast about. We upgraded the suspension, as a result it Lowered it.

But wow, i guess the best way to troll this place is to post pics of a lowered car that isn't lowered enough, some of you people on here are just being ridiculous(and somewhat immature).
hahah... you're so funny... yeah the car might be low enough for you, but this community is all about SLAMMED cars, laying body frame, throwing sparks & etc.

your car is nothing more than just a good start, but saying it's low, shame on you, this e34 is more like the new X5...

Btw, less than 1 inch to my skid plate, and I track this baby
Indeed, we usually upgrade when a part goes bad, if we can spend 10 extra dollars on a part and get some gains out of it we will do that, hell he runs EBC redstuff pads on the thing.

However, id be willing to see what you do with the "stance" and the rest of the car.
Unwritten rules are open to interpretation, which is why it is a good idea to have them written somewhere....I honestly didn't see that thread because i rarely come here. kinda poor(been out of a job for 2 years because of the economy, I make money fixing peoples cars and welding) and doing anything to my car costs more money than i have, I posted this because i assumed people would be open to seeing it, but since i have received an infarction for "insulting" someone(Not sure how), whilst having insults thrown at me, I gather this was not the case.

I appreciate the fact that you are at the very least being civil with me.
    Thank you sir.

    @MikeG:

    So i see!
If thats your car in your sig, I like it, I like it alot actually
