I apologize for the lack of updates lately, the focus on getting the Forester up and running again put a lul in the Z action. Now back to it...

Last night I was able to cut the back end out of the car and finally get it at fighting stance, or height I should say. The reference line has always been the lower edge of the door sill, and it now sits at 4". The overall height is now at 41".
You can also now see where the rear wheels will sit, and how much of the rear fenders will need to be trimmed away. My goal is to accomplish that tomorrow... and then you'll see the cobra rear end and tires in place, which I cannot wait to see.

I had an 1986 European imported 190E AMG w/ the 2.3 16v cosworth engine and getrag gear box for a while... it was fun and ended up selling it to the guy who originally imported it back in the early 90's.

You can probably pick up another ej for that thing on the cheap. Drop it in and drive it agin, then focus on the damn z!!

Again, not exactly the car I had planned on working on.... a bump in the road. The fun will start up again in a few weeks.
In the mean time, anyone have any AMG 3 pc. wheels they care to get rid of??
