Love. This. So. Hard. I got an e21 off craigslist for 850 not too long ago, converted to carbs (very shitty job, so many cut wires laying around, everywhere) I don't know how long ago and I'm slowly teaching myself how to do work on it, so far I've managed cut springs which returned me with scary alignment issues, currently saving up for coilovers and the like. I drive the hell out of it (Jimmy Johns deliverydriver) so it's slowly falling apart on me, sad face. But premium work you've done here, sir.

Visited the Chula Vista Ecology junkyard the past weekend and came up on a 360mm Nardi woodgrain steering wheelA friend and i were laughing at how ghetto this merc 300e was, so i took a peak inside and caught eyes with this. Plan to polish the metal and revarnish the wood.
Started to remove the tacky paint job with some fine steel wool

getting to my nardi restoration when i find time to spare
the rear camber finally caught up with my tires, even after swapping the rear to the front 2k miles ago
Picked up a sweet deal in my exact tire size off craigslist, (2) riken raptors that are pretty much brand new and (2) falken ziex ze912s that are lightly worn
Next up was to finally weld in my Ireland Engineering adjustable trailing arm mounts that i had TIG welded onto the inner mounts for vertical slotting to adjust the rear camber. Pretty sweet design once i had everything hooked up and found out how it worked
Also acquired some red poly rear subframe mounts from Eurometric (Jesse, Jester)
Heres the adjustable mounts hooked up and at the stock position (lowest point)
With the bolt welded to that washer you simply act as if youre tightening or loosening the bolt and it uses the notches in the mount to guide the washer up and around in a circle. Heres the highest point of adjustment, ended up giving me ~2 degrees of positive camber at my low height.
extreme positive camber at full down travel hah
one bolt had become stripped slightly so i custom made a new factory driveshaft to differential bolt
I ended up setting the adjustment slightly above the center of the mount, took a couple tries to get it where i liked. Also my new exhaust that is relocated above the cvs' isnt quite high enough for these new mounts so it slightly rubs/vibrates while driving
So here is how it sits now measured from the rocker panels to the ground, both furthest front and furthest back on the rockers are 4 1/2" off the ground. Set the fronts at 0.5 degree negative camber and comparing to the fronts, the rears look to be ~1 degree of negative camber. Also now am only running 10mm spacers in the rear with no spacers up front.
