Recieved my nos hayden 16" electric fan from bflan on bfc so i went ahead and removed the rest of the ac system finally

I boxed everything ac related up and weighed it... exactly 70 pounds thats a nice weight savings

not as the actual strut housing... rather than putting the two pieces of housing together and welding the seams, i slid a just large enough piece of exhaust tubing on the outside of the housing and welded that to both of the housings to keep them together, as you can see below.

Obtained some US e30 ellipsoids with fairly decent lenses and picked up some DDM 35W 5000k Slim Pack HIDs



Here is a comparisson to my hella h4 housings with silverstar ultra 4100k bulbs. It looks a little blue on first startup but turns a solid white after a couple minutes.


had to butcher the headlight backing a bit to make room for the ellipsoids



Also got some LED bulbs from DDM for the interior dome light, trunk light, and license plate lights.
