Very nice white on white E36 vert!!
Tip: Install a M50 manifold and add S52 cams to that for some more horses.
Did it to my E36 323i and I have dyno'd it at 230 hp

How about a front lip or something? You probably don't want M3 bumpers, but it does look a little naked, the front.

Just needs an american V8 swap to be complete. I totally agree about some type of lip. Haven't looked a whole lot, but non-M bumper lips seem pretty rare.

What type of paint/dye did you use on the dash parts? I've been wanting to do that for a while, it looks great!

Duplicolor grease remover + adhesion promoter + matte vinyl/fabric paint.

It really isn't hard and the finish is near perfect, so I say go for it!
